Women are taking over! Well, at least making a bigger name for themselves in the workforce. Not only are they taking a stand when they onramp, or return to work after maternity leave, but they are taking on a larger percentage of management and professional jobs.
Women now receive three Bachelor’s degrees for every two earned by men. They are graduating in near equal numbers from law and medical schools, and received 44% of MBAs in 2007, Forbes.com reported from the U.S. Department of Education. However, it is emphasized that most women remain primary parents and take on the majority of household responsibilities.
